PRIVATE Pieces

NOAH’S ARC

Clients wanted a dramatic base under a glass table top. The cantilever design has always fascinated me AND it didn’t hurt that their last name is Noah! The ‘Ah Ha’ moment comes with the engraving in sapele wood that says “Come friends and family, sit and eat.” in Malay. (A country dear to their hearts).

morning flight

Meet Gree the Great Blue Heron. Symbolizing wisdom and good judgment, this piece fits in perfectly on the sundeck of a Cape Cod home that housed generations of educators. The Blue Bird has been added as a nod to their resurgence to the Cape in the past decade. 7’8”L Stainless steel, Steel, and Copper.

DOLCE GAIA

Sweet Earth Goddess represents the client’s love of the earth and tendency towards decadent desserts! Located on the banks of Medicine Lake, this private commission grew into a sculptural, functional railing and a water feature that makes a cohesive statement when pulling up to the home. Stainless steel and stone.

Shape of money

The client’s only input on what inspires them was $$$$$! Two ‘Centires’ flank the beautiful front entry. ‘Stacks’ holds its position in the huge horseshoe driveway. Stainless steel, Copper, and Granite make up this tryptic of sculptures in an elegant Naples, Florida yard.

ARIE

This aerie lives next to a live eagle’s nest. How would you feel getting this close to seeing what’s inside the noble eagle’s home? The clients wanted something to represent their last birdie flying the coop. Located on The Mississippi River Road in Minneapolis Stainless Steel and Copper

LUCY’S FLOWERS

This very special piece was commissioned by a family who endured great loss. Lucy’s favorite flower will last through the lineage of the family members who are represented in this 9’ mild steel sunflower.

Bridging Our Earth

The Cincinnati Insurance Company in Ohio commissioned a 50’ hallway sculpture. The incorporation of the Roebling Bridge along with decades of photographs from CIC employee trips from around the world creates a perfect space for client meetings, board meetings, and employee gatherings! Stainless Steel, Photographs, Cable and Turnbuckles!
